A stay at Mila isn't a kennel with a nicer name. Every guest gets a private, climate-controlled suite, a bed built for real sleep, and a daily rhythm that mirrors the one they know at home — meals, walks, play, and a proper tucking-in at night.

From the moment your pet arrives, they're greeted by name and shown to their own private suite — no shared runs, no chaos. Each day follows a predictable rhythm because predictability is what keeps animals calm: morning potty and breakfast, mid-morning play, a quiet rest block, an afternoon walk or enrichment session, dinner on their schedule, and an evening wind-down with a real bedtime check-in.
Because we cap the number of guests we take, the ratio of caretakers to pets stays low. That means someone always notices the small things — the dog who's eating a little slowly, the cat who prefers the high shelf, the senior who needs help onto the couch.

We welcome cats and dogs of every age and energy level, and we tailor the day to the individual. Bouncy adolescents get more structured play; shy or senior pets get more quiet, more patience, and more one-on-one time.

Can I meet the team before booking?
Absolutely — we encourage it. Before the first stay we set up a free virtual meet & greet over FaceTime, Zoom, or a phone call, so we can get to know your pet, answer your questions, and walk you through how their stay will work.
What do I need to bring?
Just their food, any medications, and a favorite item or two that smells like home. We provide the bedding, bowls, and everything else — though you're always welcome to bring your own.
Do you separate cats and dogs?
Yes. Cats have their own quiet, elevated spaces well away from the dog areas, so everyone stays low-stress.
Are vaccinations required?
Yes, for the safety of every guest. We'll ask for up-to-date records before the first stay — our team will walk you through exactly what's needed.
Will I get updates while I'm away?
Yes. You'll receive photo and video updates, and you can check in with our team anytime. Live pet cams are also available.
